Frequently Asked Questions

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Psychotherapy services are often eligible for insurance reimbursement.  Insightful Family Therapy is an in-network provider for BCBS PPO and Blue Choice Plans and Aetna PPO Plans.  If you have a different insurance provider and would like to use your out-of-network benefits, an invoice will be offered for all services rendered to submit to your insurance provider.  Please check with your provider to determine your reimbursement eligibility.

WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF TREATMENT?

Sessions are typically 50-55 minutes in length and are scheduled weekly.  The length of therapy depends on a variety of factors, however, treatment will last as long as you and your therapist agree necessary.  Treatment goals will be discussed in the beginning sessions and will be continuously re-evaluated throughout treatment.
